Vote for the best drink created for TDN: Cleaning House

We dug deep into our cupboards and cobbled together some great drinks from those almost empty bottles. Here’s our favorites of the night. Now we want YOU to vote for your favorite. The creator of the winning drink will receive bottle of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters courtesy of Mud Puddle Books.

Hal’s Swag

  • 2 oz. Martin Miller’s Gin
  • 1/2 oz. yellow chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz. Domaine de Canton
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1 small egg white
  • 2 dashes Angostura orange

Shake in a logo emblazoned boston shaker and strain into cocktail glass.

Beatrix’s Revenge

  • 2 oz Bulleit bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Bianco vermouth
  • 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.25 oz grapefruit
  • 0.25 oz Blackstrap rum
  • 3 dashes Bitter Truth aromatic bitters

Stir over glacial ice, garnish with flamed orange peel

Saffron’s Ruse

  • 1 oz Bols Genever
  • 1 oz Oronoco
  • 1 oz Carpano Antica
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • 1/8 oz Herbsaint
  • 4 dashes Bitter Truth aromatic bitters

Stir with New Orleans languidness, garnish with orange twist

4am in the Monteleone

  • 2 oz Partida Anejo
  • 1/2 oz Fernet Branca
  • 1/4 oz yellow chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar
  • 1/2 oz lime juice

Shake for a full trip around the Carousel Bar, strain into cocktail glass.

Tony’s Suitcase

  • 2 oz cachaça
  • 1/2 oz Campari
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Shake like you’ve just been through a flight from Brazil and strain into cocktail glass.
